When you open a bottle of our Za’atar Spice Blend the scent of herbs and freshly turned earth emerge. A dense complexity on the palate includes citrus, herbal, woody, and clay earth notes.

This blend of herbs and spices is unique to the Middle East and has been around since biblical times where we first hear of it in the Psalms: “Cleanse me with za'atar and I shall be purified."  Along with olive oils and spiced salts, the za'atar blend has been used as a staple in Arab foods and is usually eaten with grilled meats and fresh bread from medieval times to the present.  Za’atar is now common to both Arab and Israeli cuisine and can be found in homes and restaurants from Iraq to Morocco.  Try it and you won’t regret it!
