Steakhouse Beer Cocktail

YIELD: 1 serving  PREP TIME: 3 min

  • 1 ½ ounces vodka
  • 1 ounce Rose's Sweetened Lime Juice or fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon Steakhouse Rub
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 3 ounces (or more) pale ale

Pour vodka, lime juice, 1/8 teaspoon Steakhouse Rub, and 1 teaspoon lime zest into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes and shake until thoroughly blended and cold.

Strain shaker contents into a glass and add fresh ice. Pour the ale into the glass slowly. Sprinkle additional lime zest and Steakhouse Rub on top for garnish.

This refreshing cocktail can be enjoyed 3 ways: "high test", "low test", and as a mocktail. To make the "high test" version use vodka and fresh squeezed lime juice as the recipe instructs. For the "low test version substitute sparkling water for vodka and use Rose's  Sweetened Lime Juice, and for the mocktail make the low test version and substitute non-alcoholic beer.
