Savory Grilled Salmon

YIELD: 4 servings  PREP TIME: 5-8 min  + 1-2 hr marinating   



  • 4 salmon fillets (4-6 oz. each)
  • 2-4 teaspoons Spice Your Life Savory Salmon Rub
  • 3-4 tablespoons Spice Your Life Smoky Molasses Rub


Sprinkle 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of Savory Salmon Rub on each salmon fillet and rub the seasoning onto the meat about 10 minutes before grilling. We recommend starting with less seasoning because you can always add more after the salmon is cooked. Leaving the skin on makes it less likely the fish will fall through the grill rack.

Lightly oil the grate of the grill. Heat grill to medium high temp. When the grill is ready, place fillets onto the grill, skin side up for 2-3 minutes until lightly browned. Then gently turn the salmon over onto its skin and cook another 3-4 minutes for medium rare and internal temp is 145 F. Thicker fillets may need to cook longer.
