Jerk Seasoned Pork Ribs
YIELD: 3-4 servings PREP TIME: 1 1/4 hr + 12-24 hr marinating GRILLING TIME: 6-7 min
Ingredients:
- 12-16 ounces of pork baby back ribs
- 3 tablespoons Jerk Seasoning or Jamaican Jerk Seasoning
- 2 tablespoons Olive Wood Smoked Olive Oil
Instructions:
Place the ribs in a large pot and filled with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 1 hour. Drain the ribs, pat dry with paper towels, and place them in a large baking dish.
Whisk Jerk Seasoning and olive oil into a paste. Set 1-2 tablespoons of the Jerk Seasoning paste aside to be used later. Baste the remainder of the Jerk Seasoning paste over the top and bottom of the ribs, making sure that the ribs are well coated. Cover and place in the refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours to marinate.
After the meat is fully marinated, remove the ribs from the refrigerator and preheat grill to high. Grill for 6-7 minutes, brushing the reserved Jerk Seasoning paste on generously while grilling.
Note:
This recipe works well with other spice blends too, like our BBQ Rub or Istanbul Grill Seasoning.
