Holiday Dressing with Turkish Spice Rub
YIELD: 6 servings PREP TIME: 15 min BAKE TIME: 35-40 min
- 2 tablespoons Butter Olive Oil
- ½ cup diced onion
- ½ cup diced celery
- 1 tablespoon Spice Your Life Turkish Spice Rub
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 6 ounces bread stuffing
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Heat butter olive oil in a medium-sized saucepan over medium high heat. Add celery, onion, and Turkish Spice Rub and sauté until vegetables are tender but still somewhat crisp. Add the chicken broth and heat until boiling. Remove saucepan from heat, add the bread stuffing, and mix lightly.
Grease a 1 quart casserole dish and add the bread mixture. Cover and bake at 350°F. for 35-40 minutes or until hot. If you desire a crispier dressing, bake uncovered.
If you want to make this dressing in advance, cover the unbaked stuffing mixture in a casserole dish and refrigerate for up to 1 day. Then bake as described above.
