Fast and Easy Barbecue Sauce
YIELD: 1 1/2 cups PREP TIME: 10 minutes COOK TIME: 5 minutes
- 2/3 cup ketchup
- 3/8 cup apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon Chardonnay Smoked Sea Salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 2 teaspoon Smoked Spanish Paprika
- 3/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Combine all of the ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Cook for 5 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
Use this sauce full strength when serving alongside meat and dilute the sauce 1:1 with water when painting on meat for grilling. Barbecue sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
