Chili Lime Grilled Shrimp

YIELD: 4 servings      PREP TIME: 10 min     MARINATE TIME: 30 min     COOK TIME: 4 min



  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons Spice Your Life Persian Lime Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 ½ teaspoons Chili Lime Seasoning (from Spice Your Life)
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped



In a small bowl add olive oil, minced garlic, Chipotle Lime Seasoning, cumin, and lime juice and whisk to blend. Pour this mixture into a resealable bag and add shrimp, tossing to coat thoroughly. Marinate shrimp for 30 minutes.

After shrimp have been fully marinated, thread shrimp onto metal or bamboo skewers (if using bamboo skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before using). Preheat grill to medium temperature. When the grill has reached the desired temperature, place shrimp skewers on the grill. Grill for ~2 minutes, then flip the skewers and grill the uncooked sides for ~2 minutes until meat is pink but still tender. Watch the shrimp carefully while grilling to prevent it from overcooking and drying out. When ready, remove the shrimp skewers from the grill, place onto a serving dish, and sprinkle with chopped cilantro. Serve with your choice of sauce.
